Detours due to Street Maintenance
The Texas Department of Transportation will be making repairs to the road at 25th and College Ave. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Traffic will be detoured away from the Square starting at 5:00 AM on 5/17/23. This will be a one day operation and traffic should be back to normal by 5:30 PM on 5/17/23.
The following detours will be in place.
SH 350 (College Ave.) traffic going Southbound will be detoured to 24th St.
SH 350 (College Ave.) traffic going Northbound will be detoured to 26th St.
US 180 traffic going Eastbound will be detoured to Ave. T
US 180 traffic going Westbound will be detoured to Ave. R.
It is our intention to allow local traffic only to access the stores on the square, but no through traffic will be allowed. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and apologize for the trouble. These repairs are necessary to preserve the pavement and prepare it for sealcoat in June. We ask for your cooperation and patience with this project. We are striving to make this project safe for our employees while causing minimal impact to the city and business.
