Weather permitting (rain or high winds) the City of Snyder will begin spraying for mosquitoes at dusk Wednesday, June 9th. The area west of College Avenue will be sprayed on Wednesday, and on the area east of College Ave will be sprayed on Thursday, June 10th . The Green Hill Addition (North of Huffman Avenue), Hermleigh, Fluvanna, and Ira will be sprayed on Friday June 11th.
Weather permitting, the city plans to spray every two weeks during the summer months to help control the mosquito population.
