The Disaster Summary outline is used by the Texas Department Emergency Management regarding the extent and summary of damages incurred by County, City and Local Businesses. The numbers are used as a basis for declaring a disaster which has already been done by President Trump. Scurry County and the City of Snyder are asking local businesses to fill out the DSO. The information does not need to be exact figures at this time. These numbers help to determine funds that may be appropriated to the County and City by FEMA. The numbers also help to determine Small Business Administration (SBA) assistance at the local levels in our area. When you have finished filling out the form, email it to covid.dso@co.scurry.tx.us.
