Snyder, Texas; September 26, 2018 -The City of Snyder, Texas announced today that it has received the resignation of Earl Morrison as Chief of Police, effective immediately. City Manager Merle Taylor and the City of Snyder, Texas thank Chief Morrison for his service to the City and its citizens.
Lt. Brian Haggard has been named Interim Chief of Police by City Manager Merle Taylor. Mr. Taylor will manage the process for identifying and interviewing candidates for the Chief of Police position and will select a new Chief of Police at the conclusion of the search.
