SNYDER, TX – What better day to celebrate civic pride and environmental action than Earth Day?
The City of Snyder is proud to announce its participation in the All-America City Social Media Challenge—a nationwide campaign that highlights the people, projects, and partnerships that make finalist cities like Snyder truly shine. This challenge is part of the lead-up to the 2025 All-America City Awards, where Snyder will travel to Denver, Colorado this summer to present its story on the national stage.
This year’s theme, “Strengthening Environmental Sustainability through Inclusive Community Engagement,” couldn’t be a better fit for Sparkle City. From student-led recycling initiatives to mural projects, public cleanups, and beautification efforts—Snyder is building a stronger future by working together.
The All-America City Social Media Challenge invites cities to showcase their efforts creatively across platforms, using photos, stories, and videos to engage residents and celebrate what makes their community special.
Over the next several weeks, Snyder will share behind-the-scenes moments, highlights from local projects, and opportunities for residents to get involved and help shape our final presentation. The campaign is a joint effort between the City of Snyder, Scurry County, Snyder ISD, Snyder Chamber of Commerce, and the Development Corporation of Snyder—working side by side for the betterment of our community.
