Yes, residential customers can use their current City of Snyder utility bill once a month to discard household items or brush.
Please follow these rules to avoid additional fees or refused items:
- Bring a current utility bill with you
- The billing address must match your driver’s license or ID
- Only household trash or brush is accepted
- Not accepted: Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners
- Not accepted: Construction, remodel, or demolition materials
- Not accepted: tires

Before bringing an appliance to the landfill, such as a refrigerator, the freon must be removed. You will be required to provide the gatehouse with the certification of removal.
