- Meter Protection: Clear snow and ice from natural gas meters with a broom—never use hard tools.
- Prevent Carbon Monoxide Buildup: Ensure external vents for dryers and gas equipment are clear.
- Frozen Pipe Prevention: Let faucets drip and open cabinets to keep heat circulating.
- Save Energy: Set your thermostat to 68°F during the day and 58°F when away from home.
