Adopt-a-Pet

The City of Snyder Animal Shelter offers pets for rescue and adoption.  The animals displayed here are currently available for adoption. To adopt an animal you must show proper identification and phone number.  The cost of adoption is $20.00 without a microchip, or $35.00 with a microchip which includes the pound fee, microchip fee, city tag .  Each animal must receive a rabies shot from a veterinarian for the cost of $21.00.  A contract must be signed regarding the future welfare of the animal.  Animals may be adopted at any time during normal business hours.  All animals may have separate release dates that pertain to the city’s animal ordinances.
